Somewhere slightly north at yet another fork in the road...

Warteen: Let's see, I think that the town is down...the left path.
QL: No, it isn't, it's down the right road.
Warteen: Now that you mention it, I know I'm right.
QL: WHAT?
Warteen: I mean it is down the left path.
QL: Right.
Warteen: Left.
QL: Right.
Warteen: Left.
QL: Right.
Warteen: Left.
QL: Left.
Warteen: Right.
QL: Ha, fooled you. You said it was down the right. Therefore, we go down the right path.
Warteen: No, because you agreed with me first by saying left. Which means we go down the left path.
QL: No, I was just trying to fool you, so it doesn't count.
Warteen: And you agreed willingly, I didn't. Which makes me right.

A few steps back from them, Erronius is trying to catch up to the arguing voices. His bad eyesight doesn't allow him to see them, though, and he stumbles off the path, farther into the forest.

Lemonlighter: Kweh. (follows after Erronius)
QL: Where is the chocobo going? Wait, where's Erronius?
Warteen: What?
QL: Erronius, he's gone.
Warteen: Uh-oh. ERRONIUS. ERRONIUS.
Warteen and QL: ERRONIUS. ERRONIUS.
Warteen: This can't be good.
QL: We have to find him.
Warteen: You're right. But this forest is so big, and who knows when he wandered off.
QL: You think he wandered off.
Warteen: Oh, you're right. He might have got lost, he doesn't have very good eyesight.
QL: I'll go this way. Go to the town and get some people to help. Tell them Queen Laine sent you. They'll help.
Warteen: Right, wait.
QL: What?
Warteen: Where will we meet?
QL: I'll meet you in town. No...if you aren't here by the time I find him, I'll catch up to you in town.
Warteen: OK, wait.
QL: (exasperated) What?
Warteen: Which path do I take?
QL: Oh, we can't start arguing again. Try the left. There should be a sign.
Warteen: Right, no left. Bye. Wait.
QL: No.

BtN: Hey, Monkey, I guess it's just you and me.

**Monkey scrambles up a tree.**

BtN: Well, Bob, I guess it's just me. When is Chad coming back? He's annoying, but I like him.

QL: ERRONIUS. Oh, where could he be? I've gotta find him.

Erronius's Staff: Clump. Clump.

LemonLighter: (sadly) Wark.

Warteen: I don't see that sign anywhere. I would think there'd have been a sign by now. Maybe it was down the other path. I'll just head back some, and if QL isn't there, I'll go down the other path.

**Warteen heads back, stepping on a knocked over board. A board that proclaimed the town to be just up this road.**

TGC: Where are we going? Shouldn't we get back, they should be back soon?
QR: Not much farther, Chad. Be patient, I promise it will be worth it.

Warteen: Good, she's not here. But what if she is here when I get back? She'll see me, then she'll know she was right. Oh, well, we have to find Erronius, even if it means proving QL right.

QL: I don't think he is here anywhere. I better go catch up to Warteen. No sense in getting all of us lost.

**QL has an amazing sense of direction, and quickly finds her way back to the path. She heads back to the fork in the road when she notices something she hadn't seen before.**

QL: What's this? Oh, jeez. How could I have missed this? The whole time we were arguing, the directions were engraved on this tree. Warteen was right.
QL: Oh, it's a good thing he didn't go the other way. That's Mirage Lane. The path stops after awhile and drops over a cliff. And due to the mirages, we never would have seen the end of the path. Good thing Warteen went the other way.

**In another tree, deeper into the forest, another monkey responds to Monkey's calls. Monkey is elated about finding a companion and follows the sound.**
